Bold Beginners Internship Program

What an experience!

From the very moment I received the offer, a rush of excitement coursed through me, anticipating the experiences this opportunity held. Over the course of the program, I had the privilege not only to engage in collaborative projects with product design professionals within the agency but also to successfully orchestrate a campaign pitch project alongside my fellow intern teammates.

Throughout this period, I had the privilege of harnessing and putting into action the diverse skills I've gained over the years. Furthermore, I delved deeply into a multitude of disciplines, including but not limited to design thinking and the art of effective teamwork.

  • June 12 - August 13

  • Experience Design Intern | Product Design

  • Agency: Worked on multiple client/non-client projects with teams of product designers.

    Intern Project: Part of a team of 12 consisting of Account Manager, New Business, Project Managers Copy Writer, Art director, and XR interns.

Agency & Department

  • For agency-related work, I was assigned to the product design department, where I worked closely with a team consisting of one lead, a senior, and a junior product designer.

  • I began my internship by working on a project with my mentor, who was the team's lead designer, to create the agency's design system, which comprised typography, buttons, a navigation bar, cards, accordions, and an ISI panel.

  • As the internship progressed, I assisted in the design of branded pharmaceutical websites and convention panels while collaborating with the team's designers.

Pitch Project

  • I was part of a team of 12 interns that consisted of Account Manager, New Business, Project Managers, Copy Writer, Art director, and XR interns. Together, we were tasked to pitch a campaign to our designated clients based on the RFP that we were provided at the beginning of the internship.

  • During this assignment, I worked as a product designer to create creative components for the campaign while collaborating with other creative interns.

Summary

Overall, the Bold Beginners Internship Program was a great learning experience as I got the opportunity to work alongside industry professionals and learn in-depth about the field. Collaborating with people from various roles and backgrounds allowed me to widen my thinking, both professionally and personally.
